2.  AFA applauds as the Broadcast Decency Bill is signed into Law
    Tupelo, MS-The American Family Association (AFA) attended the White House ceremony today as President Bush signed into law the Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act, S. 193. Under this bill, broadcasting violations of decency laws may increase tenfold from $32,500 per violation to a maximum of $325,500 per violation.

    TUPELO, MS-The networks received a wake-up call and parents were given a long awaited gift from Congress yesterday when the House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 193, The Broadcast Indecency Enforcement Act, increasing broadcast indecency fines from $32,500 to $325,000.
